FAQ

Everything you might want to know.

Answers for hospitals, clinicians and anyone curious about how MediForce Health works. Can’t find it? Ask us

General

Is MediForce Health live yet?
Not yet — we’re onboarding a founding cohort ahead of a 2026 launch. Join the waitlist for priority access.
How is this different from a locum agency?
No agency in the middle. Employers set and keep the rate; clinicians keep more of it; and compliance, scheduling, timesheets and pay all run on the platform.
Which countries do you cover?
The UK at launch, with an India pilot to follow.

For hospitals

Can we keep our own approval chain?
Yes — approvals are configurable by tier, with pass-back and comments at each step.
How do long-term locums work?
Post a date-range block; clinicians take the whole block or specific days. Longer external bookings run through an approval process first.
Do coordinators see everything?
Only what you grant. Access is scoped by area and staff group.

For clinicians

Does it cost clinicians anything?
No — clinicians join and work free.
How many shifts can I hold interest in?
Up to three open shifts at once.
What if I’m unwell for a confirmed shift?
Confirmed shifts can be cancelled only in genuine emergencies or sickness, with notice to the employer who releases the slot.

Compliance & data

What compliance do you check?
GMC, DBS, right-to-work, indemnity, references and mandatory training — verified before booking and monitored for expiry.
How is visa compliance handled?
Weekly visa-hour caps are tracked and enforced for bank and external clinicians.
How is my data handled?
Only to operate the service and contact you about it. See our privacy policy for detail.
